There are many fantasy anime series that revolve around a God, or a God-like creature or existence. But this anime flips that idea upside down; giving a view of a fantastical world where God is gone. And ironically, even though God is gone, this anime is one Godly anime series!

Now here’s one that you should probably already know if you’ve been keeping up to date with all of the recent series… or should I say, all the recent awesome series. Because there hasn’t been many in these recent years, but here’s one that fits the bill. Of course, at first glance it doesn’t look all that flashy, new or interesting. But they always say, never judge an anime by its cover. And that rule especially applies to this anime; it may not look like much, but the insides are freaking awesome.

I watch all kinds of anime; from the well-known “mainstream” anime series to the more lesser known “underground” ones. I watch everything from horror to ecchi, but the one genre that I have learnt to love the most is slice-of-life. I have already written quite a few reviews on slice-of-life series and here is another one that many anime watchers looked down on.
