You gotta love it when you’re watching a particular anime series and they reference a series that you love or have seen before. But how often do you come across an anime series that not only refernces the f**k out of every single series ever made; but also the concept of otaku, anime and manga lifestyles itself?? Well, this series right here just happens to do just that… and oh what a way it does it!

Anime openings… it’s only a short minute and a half long, but it gives us just that little glimpse of the big picture. The stories, the characters and the overall feel of the anime series can be presented so well (and entertainingly) in a minute and a half. Us anime watchers love those anime openings; whether it’s listening to the song, watching the animation sequence, or in most cases: both! Some anime openings are better than others in more than many ways… but which are the best of the best?
Well, here it is! The Top 100 Greatest Anime Openings Of All Time as chosen by you! The anime lovers, fans and fanatics of the online wonderland!
I’ve been collecting votes for about 2 months, and the feedback was extraordinary.
In a little under 2 months, we managed to collect a whopping 3473 VOTES!
That’s truly amazing! And I thank each and every one of you that voted! Thanks to you guys, I managed to create a list that truly separated the good openings from the epic openings.
Although I had absolutely no part in this list, it seems that my anime-music sense was spot on with the rest of the community; most of my favourite’s obtaining a spot in the top 100.
But there were hundreds of great OP’s that we all know and love that happened to miss out on the Top 100 by that much! So, I thought it would be right to list the OP’s that runner-uped on The Top 100 list, just because we can!

Yes, here is yet another slice-of-life anime for you to feast your eyes on. I have seen many people saying that they dislike slice-of-life anime’s due to its lack of “story”, which I can tell you right now is complete bullsh*t. Whether you like slice-of-life anime’s or not, there are a countless number of them being made and loved by many people. In fact, many famous and well-acclaimed anime’s such as Lucky Star and Nichijou are nothing but slice-of-life. But here is one that is just so ordinary that it is probably one of the cutest series you will watch.
Kamisama Hajimemashita ~ Review
“A cute romantic comedy with gods, spirits and supernatural stuff”
Here’s a little series for you romance/shoujo manga fans that is sure to tickle your inner girliness (if you have any at all, that is). In other words, if you watch this series, you’ll feel just a little less of a man, if you know what I mean. What I’m trying to say is that this is a good series to watch. Ah, whatever. Let’s just get on with the review…

“Searing flames of evil that will set your heart alight!”
Here is another great anime that recently ended for you to feast your eyes on. Many people say it was quite a unique anime with a unique concept, and although I’ll admit the plot was unique, you can loosely relate it to the series Zetman. But this isn’t a review for Zetman. This is a review for Code:Breaker; a series that you should most definitely watch if you haven’t yet. But of course, I’m about to tell you why you should go and watch it, and not just tell you to (well… I could just tell you, but this is the Internet; you need a solid argument to get anywhere).
