Top 100 Greatest Anime Endings Of All Time: #40 ~ #21

Top 100 Greatest Anime Endings Of All Time: #40 ~ #21

When we talk about anime endings, we’re talking about that 1 minute 30 seconds that closes off the awesomeness… or sometimes crappy-ness… of the episode that you just happened to watch. While you wait for the preview of the next episode, you delve yourself into the ending song and ending animation of the series that you love or hate. Much the same with anime openings, anime endings are just as important; the way that an anime ends each episode leaves a different impression on the anime until the next episode, whether that be good or bad.

But which anime endings are the best of the best?
Well, here is what the people of the online anime community has decided as being the Top 100 Greatest Anime Endings Of All Time! I did a similar Top 100 list with Anime Openings (check that out if you haven’t yet!) in which we received a ton of votes. This time, we have received a total of 2371 votes! That’s not as many as we received for The Top 100 Anime Openings List, but that is still a LOT of votes; enough to make a pretty accurate list.

So here, I present to you #40 to #21 in the Top 100 Greatest Anime Endings Of All Time!

“References… references everywhere…!!”

You gotta love it when you’re watching a particular anime series and they reference a series that you love or have seen before. But how often do you come across an anime series that not only refernces the f**k out of every single series ever made; but also the concept of otaku, anime and manga lifestyles itself?? Well, this series right here just happens to do just that… and oh what a way it does it!

“A nice little series that will relax your heart”

Ahh, slice of life anime… they’re fun and relaxing to watch and they’re a real lifesaver for days (or weeks) of stress and strain. Some slice-of-life anime are quite exciting and energetic in their comedy and slice-of-life-ness. While others, like this little series here, are so relaxing and cute that you’re bound to fall in love with it.

(A Late) Happy New Year + An Award Nomination!… Of Sorts

Hey, how’s it goin’ everyone? This is The Anime Man!

Firstly, I’d just like to start this post (which just so happens to be my first post for 2014) by shouting a rather late Happy New Year to whoever is reading this post right now! 2013 was a seriously hectic year for me; starting my Youtube channel and managing to write a total of 100 anime reviews and other cool anime related stuff… I hope 2014 will be an even more awesome year for me and for all you otaku’s out there reading/watching my stuff! So thanks! :3

…OK, now onto the main topic of this post!

I have been nominated for the Liebster Award (a great big shoutout to Cloudy for nominating me!)… if you’re unaware about this award (of sorts), it’s pretty much a nomination that bloggers give to other bloggers with less than 200 followers in an attempt to get more exposure, traffic and profit! So, here are the rules of the award:
1. Link back to the who nominated you.
2. Answer the 11 questions given to you by the blogger who nominated you.
3. Nominate 1 other bloggers with less than 200 followers
4. Go to the blogs you nominated and notify them of your nomination
5. Give your nominees 11 questions to answer

So let’s get going with the questions that Cloudy has given me…

1) If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Umm… hmm… this is a little tricky… but I’d have to say…

“Lazy”, “Strange”, “Sexy”.

Nah… just kidding.

I’m not strange in the least.

2) Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because I was always interested in bringing anime and my love for anime out into the interwebs in some way or another. And I thought the best way (and easiest way) is to write reviews for anime series that I have watched. Not only can I express my opinions on the particular series, but it also allows for others to describe the anime and maybe watch it themselves.

3) What’s your favourite anime or manga character and why?

Holy crud… that has probably got to be one of the hardest questions to answer… I mean that number of series I have watched s immense already… and you’re telling me to choose one anime and character?? …My fabourite is always going to change and differ for every series I watch, but if I had to say it, my favourite series would be Clannad and my favourite character would have to be TK from Angel Beats.

4) Who is your biggest inspiration in life?

My biggest inspiration is my Dad. …Yeah, I’m not gonna be shy about it, so I’m gonna lay it down straight. My Dad is a person who is always honest with himself, in that he does what he loves to do and doesn’t let anybody tell him what to do. I want to be that kind of person; a person that will follow his dreams and does what he does even if the people around him say bad things or otherwise. I think by doing this Youtube thing and this blog, I’m one step closer to being that kind of person.

5) Do you think being an introvert or extrovert is more advantageous as a blogger?

I definitely believe that being an extrovert is more advantangeous, especially if you are going to ask for opinions and express your own opinions through your blogs. The thing with an online blog such as this is that other people read it too, and they will want to express their own opinions on whatever the particular post may cover. If you are introverted about expressing your own opinions or receiving opinions from others, you will go nowhere. It is probably better to learn to be more open about others and to interract with others through your blog as much as possible.

6) If you enjoy books, what’s your favourite genre?

love reading Japanese novels and light novels, but especially light novels. I don’t really have a particularly favourite genre; I will read anything that looks interesting or is said to be decent. My favourite authors are Higashino Keigo, Ishida Ira, Otsu Ichi, Yamada Yuusuke, Aoi Sekina and Kishi Yuusuke. I recently have reading the Seitokai no Ichizon series written by Aoi Sekina; they are so freaking funny and fun to read.

7) What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned thus far?

There is a fabulous saying in Japanese that I live by each and every day of my life:

“To ask is a momentary shame, to not ask is a lifetime shame”

If this saying doesn’t quite get to you, then allow me to explain.
It is better to not know something and ask then to pretend to know something and not ask. If you become arrogant and tell yourself that you know, then all your going to experience is regret and embarrassment. In other words, don’t be arrogant; it is alright to ask something and to not know something because we’re all human after all…

…we don’t know everything; just what we know.
(Monogatari reference ftw)

8) If you were a superhero, what superhero name would you take?

I think that’s a pretty simple question right? Of course, I’ll be The Anime Man!! My special power is the ability to use any power of any anime character ever (OP as f**k, I know. But still awesome!). I’ll Bankai the crap out of all the villans!

9) During a zombie apocalypse, what weapon would you go for?

I will go for a double katana. I know its probably not a good idea to have a melee weapon in a zombie apocalypse, but just the thought of going nitou-ryuu on a bunch of zombies would be SO BADASS! I would be like the assassin of the group (if I am in a group… if not, I’m probably screwed…)

10) Do you prefer sweet snacks or salty ones?

It depends on the situation: if I’m tired both mentally and physically thereis nothing better than munching on some sweets. But if I’m with my friends, drinking alcomohol, then some salty snacks would go really well with a cold beer in the Summer. I’m not really picky when it comes to food, so I’ll eat pretty much anything if the time is right.

11) Where do you see yourself in three years?

In the future!

……………

……..OK, I’ll answer properly.

Realisticaly speaking, in three years I would have graduated University and started working fulltime. Whether that may be the dream job that I sought out to have or some other job that will lead me to that dream job, nobody knows. But I hope that myself in three years will still be doing this blog and doing Youtube, because right now I’m really enjoying doing these kinds of things. It’s fun talking to people online about the things that I like and the things that I have a passion for.

————————————————————————————

OK, so now to nominate some blogs! And the nominees are:
theanimeempire.com
http://shibirerudarou.wordpress.com
http://caraniel.wordpress.com

And my 11 questions to you are…!
1. If you could be one anime character for a day, who would you be and why?
2. What’s the most enjoyable part of blogging?
3. What is your biggest passion in life?
4. What kind of music do you listen to?
5. If you could go to any country in the world, where would you go and why?
6. Giraffes or Polar Bears?
7. Name three people that inspire you.
8. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
9. Name 5 things you can’t live without.
10. If you were in an RPG, what occupation would you be?
11. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Welp, that’s it! This was something a little different from me but I hope you enjoyed it. If you managed to read all the way down to here then you are a true believer, and I respect you, Anyways, hopefully you learned a little something about me.
All in all, I wish to continue writing reviews pretty soon as there are a lot of reviews that I am yet to write, so stick around and I’ll see you all very soon!

Jyaane! :3
