The “magical-girl” or “mahou shoujo” genre is quite controversial, even within the otaku realm. There are very little fans of the genre, let alone people who can openly say that they love and enjoy the genre. I am very much the same; I have never been a big fan of the genre. That is, until I took up the courage to watch this awesome series!

While there are many underlying themes that sit inside a Key Studio work, one genre that sticks out a lot is the idea of “friendship”. And this series is the ultimate in the idea of friendships!

We’ve all seen these pervert – or ” hentai” – characters in anime before. There’s nothing really new about that. But even so, this anime makes the pervert character new and refreshing somehow. It may be because of the rather unique heroine of this series, or it may be because this anime is just awesome in it’s own right! Angel Beats! ~ Review
“This is a true masterpiece that will never be erased from my mind!!”
As this right here will become my 50th review here on TheAnimeMan (woop woop), I have decided to finally review one of my all-time favourite anime series. This series is truly “a masterpiece”; that’s really the only way that I can describe this anime to you without having to write a massive 700 word review for you (like I am right now, ironically enough). If you love your anime, you sure as hell know this series. If you don’t know it, then you sure as hell need to know this series.
